Spontaneity. That’s something that a lot of people accuse me of not having. I admit that I am one to enjoy fastidiously planning much of my day and seem to always have a plan in mind.  My rationale is that it makes life more efficient.

If there is one thing I love about travelling, it is learning what the locals eat.  For me, it is sometimes a joy greater than seeing the sights as it satisfies not one, two or three senses but all five in one go.  The sight

At the end of 7 days on the road, we arrived back in Tokyo to recuperate.  While distracted by great coffee and stratospheric pancakes (I have never had better, they brought a tear to my eye), fantastic yakitori with friends, a revelation dawned on me

Sometimes nagging gets to me.  At times (which I guess is the aim), I just give in and do what the voice says in order to get it to go away. Although I have to be careful not to encourage such behaviour.  It might backfire
