So finishing up Ephesus we stopped by the temple of Artemis. Yes Its that one sad pillar by itself.  The temple fell to the horrible death known as recycling.  I.e. taking from the old to make a new new shiny house. And if you look into

So continuing down the main street You felt the call of nature.  Time to stop by the potty.   After having increased your comfort level substantially, it was time to do some reading, so you drop by the library of Celsus, one of the wonders

So continuing on… Next stop was the Hagia Sophia! Originally built as a Christian church, it was the biggest one around for a 1000 years (until St. Peter’s came along) And suitably grand inside But if you look closely, you can see Arabic script everywhere.

So off we went on a new adventure.  To Istanbul. Arriving at 4:30am in Istanbul we took the bus to the hotel where a very sleepy porter took our bags.  Then off to see the city. This is at the hippodrome before the blue mosque.
