Kaiseki dinner

At the Miyajima Ryokan

10 course dinner served in your room.

First course – milk tofu

Second course – sashimi

Third course – rice roll, kumqat, carrot, brocolli and fugu (the jelly thing).  Also some beans in the side.

Fourth course – Fish stew (cod) cooked by slow flame underneath

Fifth course – steamed oysters with lemon

Sixth and Seventh course – Egg custard with fish roe, tempura bamboo shoot, tempura courgette leaf, tempura prawn ball and tempura crab ball.

Eight and Ninth course – (not featured) rice and miso soup

Tenth course – lemon jelly, mochi and strawberry

Then bedtime
