The only thing worse…

The only thing worse than doing something you hate is doing it again.

So what am I talking about?

I am now leaving Japan for the second time….

After a year of excitement

Majestic castles

Gleaming temples

Dormant volcanos

Mysterious graveyards

Rugged mountain trails

Blooming sakura

Hidden shrines

Serene beaches

Snow capped mountains

Fantastic dances

Haunting lanterns

Endless flower fields

Onsens high in the mountains

Crazy matsuris

And let’s not forget the food.

Crab sashimi

Wagyu beef

Uni

Soba and tempura

Kaiseki

Shojin ryori and much much more.

Or the people

New friends

New and old friends

And old faces.

Now its time to move on.

So what am I doing next?

I’m handing in my blackberry, saying goodbye to working in an office and going out to see the world.  It’s time to be free.
