Aimless wanderings

Today I had time on my hands so I decided to do a bit of wandering.

First was this really old looking place about 10 minutes walk from my house.  I was quite surprised as my area is supposed to be very expensive.  But I guess you can’t make everyone move…

And then nearby were some new developments

And someone taking a break outside too

And this was my kind of shop

I then ended up walking to Yoyogi park.  Right next to Meiji Jingu

Where there were also some interesting people

And some nice flowers

Aiming for the sky…

Then next I made my way up to the Tokyo government offices.  But not before getting really lost trying to find the Japanese Sword museum.  It is hidden in a residential district.  When I got there, three were only 2 other people around (ti is quite a small museum) but it was quite interesting.

And of course, one of the most famous places of all…

Bye!  Down the waterfall stairs.
