There are some many sights in Kyoto and I had thought that I had seen all of the best from my previous trips. But sometimes its nice to have a little surprise. Nestled in north west Kyoto is a temple that is often overlooked by

Continuing on our walk around we passed some other interesting side streets. Some led to temples (that’s Chionin temple at the end). And some just led to people’s houses. But most of them were lined with lovely sakura. This is part of Chionin.  Although it
