In a 6 day hike from hotel to hotel, we covered about 120km along the side of the Atlantic ocean

Along the seaside cliffs, much of the walking was on sand, which made for tiring walking

It also cut in for some inland trails with some pretty meadows

There were some hills along the trek and cliffs to climb, which required some sweating

Yet, the seaside beaches and crashing waves kept us going

In an inland section, the terraces of the hills was quite pretty

But we would not be distracted from continuing along our trail

At occasion, the trail cut through local towns which had pretty white washed walls and orange roofs

Although we didn’t get in the water (too cold at this time of year), you could see in the summer the alternative leisure activities which would take place

We took constant breaks to marvel at the scenary. In this case this was the view while having our picnic lunch

Along our trek, we noticed the same faces again and again. Seemed that about 8 other people were doing the same trek as us

Yet, it never felt crowded as we had plenty of solitude as it just was not crowded

Towards the end of our trek, when we were out longer than usual, we saw the sun breaking through the clouds, a fitting goodbye
